Arguably, the greatest amphitheater
ever built, the Colosseum stands in the center of the city of Rome. Considered
to be among the greatest work under Roman engineering and architecture, the
Russell Crowe starrer 'Gladiator' has shown the Colosseum in its greatest
grandeur. With a capacity of 50,000, the Colosseum was used for Gladiator
battles, animal hunts, mock battles, famous battles enactments and even sea

the Taj Mahal is built on the banks of the Ganges in the city of Agra. It was
built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his late wife Mumtaz Mahal.
The Taj Mahal is a jewel of Muslim art and is built of marble with brilliant
carvings and stunning stones. A World Heritage Site, the Taj Mahal is the
symbol of India and is visited by millions.
